Dr. Dimple Ahluwalia is a Associate Director, Minimal Invasive Gynaecology, Gynae Oncology & Robotic Surgery at Medanta Hospital Gurugram, India. She is one of the very few clinical fellowship trained Robotic surgeon with fellowships in Minimal Invasive Gynaecology (Robotic Surgery) and GynaecOncology from best international universities.

She brings in vast experience in the field of advanced robotic surgery and treatment of gynaecological cancers in a minimal invasive manner from topmost national and international institutes. She holds to her credit a one year clinical fellowship in Robotic Surgery and Gynae oncology from National University Hospital, Singapore and has undergone advanced Robotic gynaecology training from University of Miami, USA.

She also has one year clinical fellowship in laparoscopic Gynaecology under the mentorship of pioneer laparoscopic surgeon in India at Pauls Hospital Kochi. She also had an extensive exposure in treating and managing gynaecological malignancies during her tenure at Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata.

She has been performing complex minimal invasive gynaecological surgeries since 2010. She has performed more than 1000 minimal invasive surgeries(Laparoscopic and Robotic)  including but not limited to Robotic hysterectomy, Robotic myomectomy, Robotic cystectomy with extensive adhesiolysis in deep infiltrative endometriosis and laparoscopic benign and malignant gynaecological procedures.

She is also proficient in performing minimal invasive procedures for gynaecological cancers like endometrial cancers including hysteroscopic surgeries like myomectomies, polypectomies besides conventional open procedures.

Her clinical practice is driven by her perseverance for providing high level of care to patients with gynaecological cancers. Her passion about research stem from her belief in the importance of applying evidence based practice. She is extensively involved in research and has published several articles in national & international journals.
